Mcleodganj- Home of Dalai Lama

Hey, beautiful people all around the world!!! Hope you are doing well here comes my blog for Mclodganj.

McLeod Ganj, also spelled McLeodganj, is a suburb of Dharamshala in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, India. It is known as "Little Lhasa" or "Dhasa" because of its large population of Tibetans. The Tibetan government-in-exile is headquartered in McLeod Ganj.

Q-What is special about Mcleodganj? Ans-Mcleodganj is known for its monasteries, museums, temples, waterfalls, lakes, and Tibetan settlements. While considering the best places to visit in Mcleodganj, tourists can take a half-day city tour.

Mclodganj and Dharamshala are so crowded so the best place to stay is Bhagsunag or Dharamkot. Cause there you will not find so much crowd and noise, prefer staying in these 2. Dharamkot and Bhagsunag both have cafes that serve continental and appetizing food. Dharmkot is weak in signals so,I stayed in Bhasunag. In Bhagsunag I stayed in Meghavan-Holiday Resort.

Up you go to the slanting road my favourite cafe comes that is Chilly Beans Cafe

Appetizing food of Chilly beans . I am visiting this cafe for the last 4 years.

Then comes cafe Raku's Place

If you are a person like me who loves trekking but not for a long day then you are here at a right time try to trek to Dharamkot. Dharamkot is the perfect base for multiple hikes in the Himalayas such as Triund, Illaqua, Indrahar Pass, etc. It is just an overnight bus ride away from the famous backpackers' hot spot – Kasol.

Then you can enjoy the trek. On the way you will find a corals shop and u can take jewelry from there too.

On the way of the trek, you can find many picture points and wall art like these two.

In Dharamkot you will find many cafes where you can sit and enjoy the beautiful view.

As,I started this blog with the blog with the name of Dalai Lama so,me show you Dalai Lama temple first.

Nadi is a picture point near Mclodganj you can see snow covered mountains and click beautiful picrtures and enjoy tea.Like the picture in the starting of the blog.

Then comes Bhagsu waterfall,u have to treak a lot to go there but it's worth.

You can also visit the stadium near Dharamshala.

Last day 😔(Don't want to leave)

So, on the last day we went to tea gardens.
